Do it if it works for you

We say do what makes you happy, whether that's smoking a joint, or even hanging out in a giant green thong.

Does smoking a joint make you happy? It may seem like a silly question, but the answer should dictate whether you continue the habit or not. We’re not endorsing anything here. But if it works for you, it works for you. Apply this logic to all situations.

Einstein stated that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. One way to interpret this in terms of how energy affects your life is how energy flows around you. Bear with us as we're about to get all hippy on you.

If you do something to block your energy from flowing, it will find it's own path. Basically if you don't follow your own intuition, if you swim against the stream of your own flow, energy will express itself in sickness, tiredness, depression, anger, and other bullshit.

Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  • Do you really want to wait for the crossing signal?
  • Should you really put gas in your car?
  • Is the sign in the bathroom that says "Please wash your hands" mandatory?
  • Does it really pay to abide by local prostitution laws?

If it feels right, it is, the only rule that applies to this is that you don't harm others of course. This may sound very simplistic, but there is no better way to judge whether you are on the right path than whether it feels right.
