Avoid carbs

Don't want to be fat, avoid carbs! These little bastards can add in pounds to all sorts of places.
We're not endorsing Atkins or anything, but carbs add more heft than fats or protein. If you're concerned about your weight, it’s pretty easy to cut back: if you're having bacon and eggs, avoid toast. Drink light beer instead of regular beer. Eat your salad without croutons. It sounds simple, but it can be a lot harder than you think.
Avoid the WRONG carbs
Contrary to popular belief, carbohydrates aren't a bad thing, what's bad is when you eat carbs that don't have anything else with them such as white bread, potato chips and french fries. Even though these taste awesome, they're REALLY REALLY bad for you, and you should only eat them once in awhile.
Here are some GOOD carbs that you can eat in place of bad ones:
- beans
- whole vegetables
- legumes
- nuts
- seeds
- WHOLE cereal grains (ex. oats)
Gluten free alternative
Also, if you are craving carbs, then why not cut back on gluten. Gluten is the evil stuff present in wheat, barley and oats, it makes you feel all bloaty and full after you eat it, beer and bread are full of it. So why not eat corn instead, or potatoes, both are carbs that lack gluten: not only are they healthier, but you'll feel better afterwards.
By avoiding or even just lowering your intake or carbs and/or gluten, and light to moderate excersize you'll probably see some pretty good results with almost no effort. Let's face it, women like it when guys don't have a giant gut hanging over their pants.
